PAL's only got type design IP, don't think there would any unique manufacturing / design capacity IP, its pretty simple sheet bashing. ICON might have a bit of unique manufacturing capacity IP realting to composites, but basically it appears more about removing the capacity from existence. The small manufacturing "can" scale rapidly when resourced.

I know both new owners well, a really nice couple with very good financial sense and strong aviation backgrounds Neil & Dee amoungst a myriad of other things have been members & crew of the Catalina Group for years (or NZCPS as its now called) They own & operate Mercer Aerodrome and both also developed and in part on-sold the Tuakau Tavern & associated Motel

you'd think some cooperative relationship will be formed between Cresco operators (particularly phosphate) and the new pacific aerospace owners ?
I hope this evolves to make some benefit (can't see how it can't if the Cresco (and variants) product is valued)
