Nice, the real one came through a while back on her way to a new home in Northern Australia.

Is this a "what-if" scenario Harry?

I remember seeing it on the tarmac at Mangere when I was a kid & getting terribly confused!

I love it Harry, what a great job! For a while I've ummed and ahhed about doing this myself as I rather like both the NAC scheme and Islander.
After seeing this I'm wondering if you'll do the NAC sports club's Piper (ZK-BZB?)...

Hmmm...if there was a Cherokee six kit at a reasonable price perhaps?? However have thought that might look better in Great Barrier colours 😉

You need to do NAC's Harvard NZ1044 too.

There is also Tigermoth ZK-ARX (NAC Palmerston North Sport and Social Club aircraft) and Gypsy Moth ZK - ADT (Officially used to transport parts from Palmerston North to stranded aircraft)

After seeing this I'm wondering if you'll do the NAC sports club's Piper (ZK-BZB?)... ZK-DHG was an NAC flying Club Cherokee 6. It lives not far from me at the Kihikihi Golf Rd Airstrip, still with its NAC stripes.

There is also Tigermoth ZK-AEX (NAC Palmerston North Sport and Social Club aircraft) and Gypsy Moth ZK - ADT (Officially used to transport parts from Palmerston North to stranded aircraft) The Tiger Moth was ZK-ARX. May be that error stems from a typo.

Love the Islander. Nice builds and I like the F-27 too. I have made several Airfix ones over the years. Only one in my collection now and finished as 'DBV of the Milford SOund operator. Decals for it was among the last release by Airfix. I sincerely hope I can find a couple more to make sometime. Meanwhile I have the Valom 1/48th kit on the bench at the moment and OldModeldecals for it. It will be in 3rd version of the Mount Cook scheme.
