hahaha the more models you build of the same subject,Zak, the easier it becomes (you work out shortcuts/mass manufactured components etc, etc  ) & to be frank...I was only SHOCKED by the poor standard of Mach 2 Plastic kits with the first build  By the time I have built 6 of them you know what to expect, keep calm and carry on LoL |

Hi, I am a modeller of New Zealand aviation and pretty much whatever takes my fancy. I have built a number of Mach2 kits and although they are not Hasegawa,Tamiya or any number of modern moulds they do aircraft no one else has. To this end is it possible to get a copy of your plans for the Convair as I would like to add one to my collection. Cheers Mike

Hi Mike, I have a set of 1/72 drawings for all Convair Series 340/440/540/580 (was for the Execuform vacuform kit I built but would suit a Mach2 conversion too) I may be able to scan and send you these in A4 segments, suggest that you PM me |

yet another CV-580 for a happy client...this one has the best nacelles yet! I was able to use the original vac set provided with an Execuform Convair kit to good effect  convair by Harry Follas, on Flickr |
