Hi all, To the delight of many over at Britmodeller (discussion here) Special Hobby is reboxing the Academy 1/72 Texan kit with correct injected canopy and resin bits to make a proper Harvard, as well as a selection of British Commonwealth Air Training Plan-themed decals that today I learned includes NZ932 in the green/brown/sky(?) with yellow sides scheme.
SH72447 Harvard Mk.II / IIA / IIB - box preview March 23, 2021 The SH72447 Harvard Mk.II / II / A / IIB model, which we are preparing in a limited series, will have a box showing the full width of camouflage that the kit will offer. We aptly named it 'The British Commonwealth Air Training Plan'. These will be RCAF air forces - here Harvard used by Czechoslovak pilots, RAF - aircraft used by Poles, SRAF, RNZAF and RIAF. We hope that your choice will satisfy you. If not, you'll have to wait for the USAAF and US Navy Texans.
