It is my understanding that when the de Havilland Canada Chipmunk marks 75 years since it's first flight, on Saturday 22nd of May, there will be a celebration of the type hosted by the Wairarapa Flying Tigers at Hood Aerodrome, Masterton. As well as the two local Chippies, they hope for others from around NZ to fly in too.
