In the latest Aviation news, Register Update, there is a fascinating vignette of ZK-JZL that had surely an interesting journey over the years from 2009. Across the Pacific to Alaska, then down through South America to Chile, Argentina and the Falklands. Then Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil. Ferried from Mendoza to Lima, Panama, Brownsville to Waco, Texas. In 2014 it was in storage at Oklahoma City then in 2016 back to PAC in NZ.
Has anyone written in detail about this? Was it a failed marketing exercise? Why would such a versatile aircraft end up in storage for four years?
