A message from Andy Love of the New Zealand Aerobatic Club --------------------------------------------------------------------- Lachlan and myself are organizing a Winter training weekend at Ashburton. The purpose of this training camp, is Judge/Scribe training. The timetable is attached which outlines our plans for the weekend. This will also be an opportunity for pilots to fly their sequences/manoeuvres in front of a judging panel, utilizing the Aerobatic area we use during Akro Fest in the Spring (map attached). The weekend will be NOTAM'ed. While registration is not required if you intend to participate either as a judge or to fly please advise by replying to this email or texting me (021 818 816). As we will be utilizing aerobatic aircraft for the afternoon segment, I need you to contact me directly so I can form an order of flight. Attending the morning briefing is compulsory for those flying and numbers will be strictly limited. The aim of this training camp is to spread the awareness and techniques of judging and scribing, while giving a practical means to try out the skills we will cover during the seminar. All are welcome so please feel free to come and observe. If you have any questions please let me know. Please feel free to forward this around your membership and to anyone you think may be interested. Looking forward to catching up with you guys.
