Anyone remember this advert? There is a historical NZ aviation context to it about 1:03 in, I'd totally forgotten about it.

Haha, that is the first time I have ever seen that full length version. I believe they only played it once on TV, and Dad switched it off in disgust about 30 seconds into the broadcast, much to the disgust of the teenagers in the room.
I recall that this full length advert was in itself advertised, as being a television event so people did not miss it.
For all the other screenings they used a much chopped down version.
I always thought it was a bit odd that Alexei Sayle would sell out his music to commercialism like that, when he was such a leftie who would be against that sort of thing. I guess he wanted an expenses paid trip to New Zealand.

I also remember seeing Jimmy Nail do an advert for Sizzlers, I guess the all expenses paid trip to NZ was the thing to do for UK TV stars in the 80s.
