Anyone got an update on how NZRT is faring since it's right in the middle of the Ashley River Evacuation Zone?

I have found nothing as yet, but it backs onto the stop bank so would be one of the first spots to be flooded, so I fear for the aircraft and facilities there.

Gosh, things look bad down south. I hope all the forum members who live around that region are OK, and that Rangiora, Ashburton and other aviation spots are not too badly affected.

Yeah Andy Love told me yesterday that the river came close to bursting the bank but didn't and the airfield is all good.
