Hi all, I've mentioned before that when I was a born til age three we lived in the old Wanganui Commercial Pilots School, a stone's throw from the hangar where Wanganui Aero Work JetRanger ZK-HTM was based. Dad was crew/loader for that machine and worked closely with pilot Charlie Anderson. So he was right in amongst it. At some point in 1988 the RNZAF dropped by (either while searching for the missing Piper Seneca ZK-EQA or on marijuana eradication) and Dad got talking to the late Phil Murray about Bell 47s. Dad was building a large model of one at the time and Phil promised to send some photos to help. Here are those photos, taken at Wigram in the first half of 1989.
