Errol, that is not Graeme Frew in the Yak 3. That is Mark O'Sullivan in his co-owned Yak 3U "Steadfast".

Really enjoyed that flight!

I had spoken to Mark about doing some Air 2 Air with Steadfast during that weekend as it was his first big show display in that aircraft.
Spoke to Bevan after that as well as it would be good to get some pictures of the younger generation of pilots coming through on the big bangers and we had looked to get some photos of him flying the Spitfire,
we just had to work out at which airfield we would do that.
Thanks to Frank Parker it was possible to use the Spitfire for this, was also Pete's first Air 2 Air flight as camera plane pilot with WW2 era fighters, we have flown together quite a with with TVAL so it was
all too easy in the end.

It was terrific that Bevan got to do this in front of the crowd at his home airfield, and even better that he got to fly the Spitfire over his home and his family got to see him flying it. I was frantically texting back and forward with his mum Lynette between taking photos so she and the others did not miss the magic moment.
