I have heard from Ivan Krippner and Glyn Saunders, who are planning a fly-in for Manapouri next year. But they would like to have some feedback from people who are interested in attending so they can gauge numbers. Glyn writes: Hi there, I am helping Ivan Krippner with the planning for the fly-in in March next year. I have attached a flyer that outlines the weekend as it stands. Of course, to nail down some of the planning it would be great to get a feel for interest and numbers. If anyone interested in attending could get back to me on glynsaunders@gmail.com letting me know your level of interest (anything from 'definitely going' through 'probable', 'possible', 'maybe' or 'nah' is fine). It would also be great to get a better understanding of how many aircraft and people you think might make it. It's early days I know and we appreciate that this number may change, especially in these uncertain times, but it gives us an estimate for more detailed planning around apron usage, catering, etc. Our bottom line for his event is that pilots can come and have some fun together in a really beautiful part of the world. This is a fly-in for pilots run by the local Aeroclub, so be it two planes or two hundred, we will have a good time. Cheers Glyn
