Jason Mills kindly sent me some photos of airshow programmes to add details to the New Zealand Airshow Archive. I have added as many details as I could gather, but I need help now to fill some gaps please. And do you happen to have photos from these airshows? This one is from the 1994 airshow at North Shore. Can you add any further details of pilots, crew, aircraft registration, etc? Also we do not know the date of the show, do you know what day and month please? Click this link and scroll down to the second 1994 airshow. www.cambridgeairforce.org.nz/Airshow_History_1990s.html#94

Interesting in that the programme for the Taupo display uses a pic of ZK-DGY the civilian airtrainer painted up to represent an RNZAF CT4B and not an RNZAF pic of an airtrainer of which there were plenty at that time!!

Dave, North Shore Aero Club have a group doing some historic record keeping so they might have more details for those shows.
From the first one I'd expect the C180 and banner towing to be Frank Pike. R22- John Clements. Mooney- Richard Neeve. C152 and deadstick aeros- Matt Wakelin. Fletcher- Dave Starr.
I have the programme from the '88 show, but not the later ones. It doesn't list any pilots either.

The Taupo show was 'Wings Over Lake Taupo Airshow" on Saturday March 31 and Sunday April 1 2001.
Some of the attendees I have photos for are that you haven't already identified: Ryan STM ZK-BEM Stearman ZK-JID Stearman ZK-XAF Stearman - all red, possibly ZK-RJS? Hunter ZK-JIL Pitts ZK-EES Fox Moth ZK-API Proctor ZK-ARP Focke Wulf Fw 190 - ZK-FWI I also have a photo of Jetranger 206 ZK-HRC, which looks like it could have been part of the mass flyby.
The show was most memorable for me because I took a flight in the Catalina which included a water landing on Lake Taupo.

Referring to Brett's Taupo list the Fox Moth should read ZK-APT not ZK-API Looking at www.cambridgeairforce.org.nz/Airshow_History_1990s.html#94 the Schleicher ASW24 flown at Warbirds Over Wanaka 1994 by Bruce Drake would have been ZK-GRC registered to him and his wife. Sadly, I report the Chipmunk in which my friend and work colleague Ian Reynolds lost his life at the same show, was ZK-TNR.

The Fox Moth was actually ZK-ADI, according to Phil Treweek's photos. Unless there were two of them there?

The Fox Moth was ZK-ADI. Sorry, my typo. I don't think ZK-APT was flying again by 2001.

I love the 2x "McDonald"-Douglas DC3 in the 1996 programme.
