Hi all

TailDragger weekend 27th November at Bridge Pa Aerodrome, Hastings.

We are gearing up so to speak – utilising our great outdoor spaces for socialising and lunch. Making sure everyone has plenty of room to swing a …umm.. prop. Feel free to pack a picnic blanket, hammock, sombrero..

Can you give us a heads-up if you are intending join us for TailDragger. Will be helpful for working out the Saturday lunch at the aeroclub and spaces.

STOL and JailBar bombing on Saturday. Join in or watch and catch up with friends. Home baking, tea and coffee.

Dinner in town on Saturday night is a pay your own way casual thing. Smaller groups here and there – no mass dining experience. Last, we ended up in the Joll rd courtyard ( not quite a piazza ) in Havelock North . Outdoor dining at Alessandros pizza/pasta joint and Piku’s Japanese . Same area has Mary’s and Namaskar. Walk down the road and around the corner ( or corners) Divas, Giant Brewing pub, Loading Ramp, Rose and Shamrock, Deliciosas and a few other eateries. Or drop over to Hastings East for the Common Room, Fun Buns, Brave Brewing tap room and eatery, Breakers….

Sunday. A not too early morning fly around. Enjoy tea and scones at Waipukurau. Drop in at a couple of country strips and see what else pops up on the day.

Looks like our friends in Auckland and Waikato will be bounced back by that invisible barrier….so will have to plan another fun weekend down here over the summer.
