Inspired by a question I posted in the "RNZAF Museum photo gold" thread forumite agile sent me the following based on his own research: 75 Squadron YC Codes Serial Letter Source NZ2306 Y Pic NZ2307 Y Aircam book Pic - not that clear NZ2308 Z Pic NZ2323 J Pic NZ2324 E Pic NZ2325 A Pic NZ2326 B Pic NZ2327 M Pic NZ2328 C Pic NZ2329 A Pic NZ2331 D Pic NZ2334 L Pic NZ2336 B Pic NZ2337 F Pic NZ2338 F Pic NZ2349 G Pics
"The other aircraft that were definitely used were '03, '05, '21, '22, and '30. Of these, NZDF serials lists only '30 as a 75 Squadron machine and it was lost in a fatal accident at sea in 1949 - I've never seen a photo of it. The others were all in RNZAF use - pics exist of all of them with RNZAF markings but no fuselage codes."

Thanks for posting these Zac. If anyone can come up with a pic of NZ2306(Y) ,NZ2324/Inst 157(E or possibly L) showing serial and code it'd be nice to complete the thread. Also NZ2321, although I wonder if this aircraft was lost before the YC codes were applied.

Thanks for that Marty, I'm hoping to flush out pics showing the serial and fuselage codes. If you ask Matthew O’Sullivan (Keeper of Photographs) at the Air Force Museum to find the digital record for Negative Number MUS011043, it’s a ¾ rear view of Mosquito NZ2324 at Ohakea – Circa 1952.

Thanks, I'll do that. How did you come up with that, if you don't mind my asking?
