Geoffrey Fisken's learned to fly at Gisborne at the age of 14, with his instructor being Trevor 'Tiny' White. He told me he got into flying then because his father and his sister were already pilots. Does anyone have details of those two please?

His father, Robert Cadzow Fisken was elected to the aero club committee in 1929. If he had learnt to fly he did not obtain a New Zealand Pilot's 'A' Licence between the wars, ditto his sisters (there were at least three of them) unless perhaps under a married name? Errol

OK, well Geoff learned to fly when he was 14, which would have been 1930. Are there any Gisborne girls with a licence at or before that time?
He also said she flew with Mac McGregor from Gisborne to Palmerston North, and she got out to see some friends there while he carried on to Wellington, crashed on arrival, and died. I wonder if there is any record of Mac's passenger before his fatal trip on the 19th of February 1934.
It may well be that the sister and father Robert used to fly regularly with friends at the aero club and were hands on, but did not gain a licence, I guess.

It seems that Geoff's siblings were: Harold Raymond Fisken Roma Cathrine Fisken Linda Elizabeth Fisken Una Margaret Fisken
So a brother and three sisters.

One more brother, apparently, the first born - Robert Martin Fisken. Linda died the year she was born - 1908, so that leaves Roma or Una as possible pilot(s). Ceehes, Errol

Thanks. They are not common names, Una and Roma, so if one of them became a pilot under a married name they should be easier to find I guess.
