Anyone know what’s going on with casual sales of FlyPast in NZ? It has disappeared from supermarkets and booksellers of late. Not sure whether it’s due to pandemic disruptions or whether it’s been withdrawn from casual sales and is now subscription only? Any ideas! Cheers and Happy New Year.

I can't answer that but over at the Key Publishing Forum (that well-known font of positivity ) there's been a lot of negative feedback over a recent format change in the magazine. I've not seen it myself so can't comment but it doesn't sound like the same magazine I used to pick up every so often.

Zac, yeah I think it has been better but I kinda like to have the option of picking it up if I think a particular issue is strong enough. It’s been a staple since the 80’s for me. Has covered some truly wonderful content.

Back in November I emailed the editor of Flypast saying that I had some photos of the ex-RAF aircraft that had been gifted to the Singapore Air Defence Command as training airframes, plus the text of history each if they were interested. I never received any reply!!!

I have been getting my copy again after a delay thru AKL!! Most disappointed. As Rolleston does NOT have a decent book shop , I order my copy through a local Dairy. There was a big gap of about 3 months but I am back in line again (bloody Covid, )Aroplane has been the same, the hold up has been the AKL waterfront.
