Very nice indeed. Love the Mk.Vc and Mk.24 Word is PK624 is next up after the Fiat CR.42. Bad news for Beaufighter fans (my fingers automatically typed Beautiful!) but good news for folks like me who have waited a long time to see a Mk.22 or 24 fly since the loss of PK350.

That's a fabulous exhibition and would love to see it. The Science Museum ran a Making of the Spitfire exhibition once, which was a brilliant examination of the aircraft stripped into its components. My fave remains the XIV. A bit of Eight and Mythos under the hood produces an expeditious war winning combination capable of beating the Luftwaffe's best. Spitfire static-8
