Just received in two emails from Classic Flyers management:

"It is with much regret, that due to the Government shift of New Zealand’s covid status to RED, our Tauranga City Air Show Dawn Raid on Sunday 30th January is now cancelled.

Thank You to all our suppliers and participants, many who have made their own significant contribution to get us to this advanced position.


Without your effort and levels of support we could not run events such as ours.


We are looking forward to seeing you all at our next Tauranga City Air Show in 2024".

DON'T FORGET - We are still open and will be busy all this Auckland Anniversary Weekend.

DC3 ZK-AWP will be operating for scenic flights along with the Boeing Stearman and North American T6.

Our AV-Gas cafe is open every day with NO holiday surcharge.

Really sad and maddening that this has happened.

And sorry, I went to make a change yesterday to the WONZ Calendar thread on this airshow to indicate it was cancelled, and I accidentally ended up deleting it, and could not get the thread back. So thanks for posting this Peter.
