On 24 Jan, the Wairarapa Times-Age reported "Wings Chief is flying the coop" with General Manager Jenny Glasson resigning her position after nine years. Jen has been a wonderful asset for Wings with an almost indestructible resolve when things go "wrong". She has experienced all the highs and lows of the show and provided the rock foundation from which all the team have projected their efforts. Chair of the event, Ron Mark said he was sad to see her go as the recently completed Strategic Plan for the 2023 event should make Wings the premier Aviation Festival in New Zealand after last years success. Despite the rain on the Sunday the last Wings drew thousands to Wellington, Masterton and the region.
For me Jen was/is great. Nothing a problem despite bedlam reigning around the HQ shed, everything organised and when things went amiss - as anyone who has organised an airshow knows they do (and often) - there was Jen very calm and collected working out solutions. That's not to say there may have been a nice cool, crisp Sav Blanc waiting at home after the days events. Trev and I enjoyed her company as did the entire crew. I and the show shall miss her.

I think Jenny actually resigned last year. They were saying at the end of the airshow it was her last one.
She has definitely been great for the show, and good to work with from my perspective, the few dealings I have had. The show has a great team behind it.
