Three RAF Canberras flew in the London to Christchurch Air Race in 1953. They stayed a few weeks in NZ after arrival, before heading home.
I have the aircraft and pilots as:
WH773 W/C L.M. Hodges
WE142 F/Lt R. McA. Furze
WE139 F/Lt Roland 'Monty' Burton
I have just found an article that lists the crews as: Wing Commander L. M. Hodges Squadron Leader R. Currie Flight Lieutenant R. L. E. Burton Flight Lieutenant D. H. Gannon Flight Lieutenant R. McA. Furze Flight Lieutenant J. W. Harper
So Currie, Gannon and Harper must have been the navigators. Does anyone know which pilot each of the navigators were crewed with please?

This may help...? (and would leave Furze & Harper as the other crew)... "London to Christchurch Air Race. Pilot Flight Lieutenant RLE Burton AFC (left) and his Navigator Flight Lieutenant DH Gannon DFC standing beside their Canberra at Harewood Airport." "London to Christchurch Air Race. RAF Canberra WH773, crewed by Wing Commander LM Hodges DSO & bar DFC & bar and Squadron Leader R Currie AFC arrives at Harewood Airport."
