I assume it is based upon Operation Carthage in March 1945. They achieved the objective of destroying Gestapo Headquarters in Copenhagen but also hit a Catholic Girls School sadly resulting in significant casualties.

I've longed for an Operation Jericho film since I was a kid but this looks fantastic, with clever use of CGI that doesn't appear to make the errors seen in other films. Will definitely watch when I can!

Well, had a quick squiz at that, and quickly came to conclusion that the quality of copying of this film is about the worst I have ever seen, an absolute disgrace. My first thought was that everyone involved in this charade should be whipped with barbed wire and stinging nettle. But then again, perhaps it is more likely to have been copied by a rank amateur, or a child, many years ago, straight off their own TV! There must be many young people about who believe that all B&W films are about this quality, which is a shame, as a large proportion of such films were of a reasonable quality of sharpness, in the day, and certainly by 1947! Comments?
