Some years ago Hachette magazines produced a part works kit for a Fokker Dr 1. A magazine was published which had parts of the model included in each issue. There were a total of 100 magazines for the project. The magazines retailed at $12.95 each so it ended up being a fairly costly project (but it was spread over a couple of years)
I have the whole set, untouched, that I want to dispose of. I have come to the realisation that I am never likely to build it, I have too many other projects taking up my time. I never initially started it as I was about to shift houses and with that due to occur again soon it would be another big model to move. The majority of the issues are still sealed in their plastic bags. Obviously I am not likely to get the $1295 I paid for them but will let them go for a sensible offer! Red covering film is included but it was always my intention to cover it with with clear film (which I can provide) so as you could see the structure while keeping dust out.
One of these completed models is on display at the AHC Museum in the von Richthofen display,
If any one is interested, or has any questions, lets know and I will go with the best offer received by the end of May

I bought the first issue and proudly built the axle wing, if I were in a better position I'd pounce on this as it would make a fantastic model for display! I hope it finds a good home with a builder.
