Yes! Just arrived, another fine issue, and well done John King taking up the editor’s chair. I endorse your comment. The previous editor was Brian Lockstone who sadly passed away in Washington where his wife is currently New Zealand's ambassador. John, who most of you will be aware, was for many years the editor of Sport Flying and New Zealand Aviation News. He passed the editorship of Sport Flying to Dave Homewood and when Aviation News came under the NBR umbrella his role there decreased. With The Aero Historian (TAH) editor's role becoming vacant, John put up his hand and the Aviation Historical Society's (AHSNZ) executive promptly grabbed it. As would be expected, the excellent quality of John's work in both presentation and readability is immediately apparent. Dare I say it, my wife picked it up, which is a rarity and read the article about Warren Russell's lighthouse years exclaiming that the print is so clear she didn't even need to put on her glasses! For many, TAH would be seen to be right up there with the best of the New Zealand's aviation magazines. Join the AHSNZ now! www.ahsnz.org.nz/user/registerNew members joining part-way through a year will receive copies of The Aero Historian already published in that year. The Hon Secretary will provide payment details.

I Concur with the comments above. Under John Kings excellent editorship, and with new material waiting in the wings, future publications will be a must for the serious aviation enthusiast!
