Hey everyone, I am just wondering if anyone is driving up to Ardmore this Saturday Dec 3? If so would I be able to catch a ride with you? I live in Cambridge, happy to cover fuel costs etc.
Regards Aidan

NZ Warbirds have listed all three WW2 fighters for the show on FB this week. Most interesting:

I'm very curious to see what the possible different guise is! Unfortunately I can't make it up this time so I expect plenty of pics!

Be great to see her as a RNZAF P40 with the stripes on the wings?

Be great to see her as an RNZAF P40 with the stripes on the wings? If it is sold and is going to get a repaint, then give it a good scrub with coral dust and kero?

Just got home, hot, sun burnt, tired and a little shattered but smiling. Thank you Warbirds team, owners pilots and contributors. What a great day, heaps of photos and some might be in focus... but that's a job for later on

Cracker day!
The first display segment was a good variety, all the WW1 stuff plus a bit more. Site was busy but manageable.
Well done team.

One of the classic things from the airshow, I was very near the fence behind the Scout and a wee boy about 7 years old moved up to the fence and was looking at the WWI planes. His Mum was just behind us, and the Westpac Helicopter was displaying. She said to the boy, "Hey look, look at the helicopter!" And the little boy turned and said, "No Mum, I think that I appreciate aeroplanes much more than helicopters." And then he turned back to looking at the planes. Mike and I, and the Mum all cracked up.
