I just watched this 1993 episode of Country Calendar, which profiled the helicopter pilot Dave Saxton who was involved in deer culling, deer recovery and deer farming. This episode includes a quite dramatic and shocking engine failure and crash of Hughes 500 ZK-HMT as seen from the cameraman's perspective as he was onboard at the time! Some good footage of helicopters in the old days on the Southland coast.
