Today, the 30th of September, is International Podcast Day. I just want to say thanks to everyone out there who listens to my podcast, The Wings Over New Zealand Show, and a big thanks to all my wonderful guests from over the years. The release of new episodes of The WONZ Show has been less frequent than I would have liked in recent months, due to technical issues and my own schedule being pretty busy lately so that I have not had time to get much done. But I hope to start getting some more shows out fairly soon. In fact I will announce right now that November 2022 will be "Vampire Month" on The Wings Over New Zealand Show. I have been recording some really interesting interviews with chaps who flew and maintained the de Havilland Vampire fighter-bomber jet in RNZAF service from 1951 to 1972. "Vampire Month" will mark 50 years since this important jet left RNZAF service in November 1972. So watch out for the shows on this somewhat underrated and forgotten jet fighter. And hopefully some other shows coming soon too. Happy International Podcast Day everyone. Please post below with your to let me know which have been your favourite episodes of the WONZ Show. And what topics you'd like to hear the WONZ Show cover? And also feel free to mention your other favourite aviation podcasts from around the world. I listen to several excellent shows that I'd recommend - Aviation Xtended, The Airplane Geeks, The Fighter Pilot Podcast, The Low Level Hell Podcast, EAA's The Green Dot, Aircrew Interview, 10 Per Cent True, Top Landing Gear, and The Damcasters, among others.

Hi Dave. Certainly so much memorable material covered in your interviews but standardouts for me were Ron Ried, Matt McLaughlin (I went straight out and bought 'Flying the Knife Edge') and of course Noel Kruse and the Great Aussie connection. Happy World Podcast Day!
