Greetings, Haven't been here for a while due to sorting out some health issues so thought I would come here with something interesting. Anyone got Google Earth and had a look at Davis-Monthan AFB (aka the aircraft graveyard) in Arizona ? And this is just a little of it. What is particularily noteworthy is the B-52s with their wings off them alongside for when the SALT talks were happening and the Russian Satellites could takes pics of them. Cheers, TNZ

...and also while checking out RNZAF Ohakea there is an F-111 and 7 CT-4's parked up. Whenupai has 2 P-3's and C-130 Wigram has the old Andover parked up there.
I know,...I have to get a life !!!

There are lots of F111s, KC135s, C141s, and Herks as well as the B52s! (at D-M, not Ohakea....)

Good to see you back Chris. I hope the health is improving mate. I've been quite crook in recent weeks too, but nothing like you're going through.
I cannot get Google Earth to work on my PC for some reason. I downloaded it, but cannot work it out from there. Would you be able to post the photos of the RNZAF bases? Even some old bases no longer in use would be interesting too.
