New Zealand Inc, unfettered, at full throttle! See that Ray Columbus made his contribution. Even some strip tease. Remember at about that time in Christchurch I managed to see two separate shows (perhaps 3 years apart) by BB King, also one with Ian Drury & the Blockheads, and one with Dalvanius (Prime) and the Fascinations!

I was 25 in 1970. A lot of it was still pretty primitive and gross. However, we were hugely advantaged by the excellent Boeing 737 services to many destinations, something we have never been able to equal in later years. You had to have experienced it to truely appreciate what we lost there.

We still had the Boeing 737's flying out of Hamilton when I was in my 20's. They were great. Proper meal service too.

Least you will get tea/ coffee and Tim Tams.

I first flew with Air New Zealand in 1970 and it wasn't like that. As for tourism, you could not get a pie on Sunday morning in Greytown.
