Hi all,

Not been on the forum for sometime, but feel will be on here alot more.

I recently purchased original documents belonging to this research, they are notes - documents relating to Sqn Ldr V.A Pedersen. Who was KIA.

I am look at future book opportunities and this information, with the modern support of forums, Internet etc can produce a great book.

I have listed the first few pleas, and hope you all don't get too bored with all my questions.

- cousin of this pilot was called Martin Wilson, does anyone know this person? Or any family members, I am sorry I don't know if he is still alive?


- Trying to find a photo of F/Lt W.H Lett, who served with the RFC and RAF before living in NZ.

Many more please to follow but hopefully cN help find this pilots family.

The late Arthur Arculus ('Digger' to his friends) published his research into Varley Pedersen in a series of 10 articles in the Aviation Historical Society of New Zealand Journal during 1973 - 1976.

I am a relative of Varley Pedersen. His mother was my Grandfathers sister. What information do you require as most information has been well covered off by Arthur Arculus.
There are no other surviving members of Varleys immediate family. His younger brother dies whilst a small child ..

Thanks for making contact, I purchased the original archive material on Jim of Arthur's from a well known auction site sometime back. I have written three books on aviation history and decided that for my fourth I would use Arthurs notes, with permissions. and enhance Jim's story, I hope you find this agreeable.

I certainly do not want to forget Arthur, as his research was fantastic, and he is well documented in the book draft, however with the modern day research, forums, and a lot more on the internet it makes it much easier, with more photos, other outlets for media. I have almost doubled the original research in size, both written and pictorial! The research document however has only photocopies of the pictures of Jim with the typed documents, which I imagine came direct from the family. I am trying to locate either better copies, or scans of the originals, would you be able to help at all please? My email address is [e-mail] if you would like to make contact and chat further.
