Just hearing the news that Carolyn Grace was killed in a car accident here in Australia a couple of days ago on 2 December.
"A woman has died and her passenger injured in a two vehicle crash at Goulburn last night. The crash happened at 6pm (Friday 2 December 2022), when a grey Suzuki and a silver Hilux ute collided on Middle Arm Road.
Officers from The Hume Police District attended and found a 70-year-old woman driving the Suzuki had suffered critical injuries. She was airlifted to The Canberra Hospital where she later died.
Her passenger, a 38-year-old man, was taken to the same hospital with minor injuries.
Two men in the ute, aged 44 and 30, were not injured. The older man, who was driving the ute, was taken to Goulburn Hospital for mandatory testing.
Inquiries are continuing"
The other passenger listed in her car was her son Richard, as noted in the news report he also suffered injuries in the accident.
Unfortuately another sad loss and thoughts with the family at this time.

Almost unbelievable that the same fate befell husband and wife Spitfire pilots, decades apart, in a car ! Life is unpredictable, inexplicable and precious. Condolences to family.

Quite a shock. In 2000 I happened to be at Duxford and she was there with the Spitfire. I could have gone over and said hello but felt nervous about doing so, so didnt. Really wish I had now. Thank goodness Richard is doing ok at least physically. Condolences to the Grace family and friends.
