This is neat. In this photo showing Fairey Gordons flying as bombers in a mock air battle over London, from the New Zealand Herald dated 8th of November 1935, you can see K1757. That very aircraft was sold to New Zealand and joined the RNZAF on the 5th of August 1939. In the photo it would have been serving with No. 207 Squadron RAF, and was based at Bircham Newton. It served in Sudan later, before coming to New Zealand. Also in the shot is K1161, coded A4. It also served at the time with No. 207 Squadron RAF, went to the Sudan, and then joined the RNZAF in August 1939 too!
