I started with two main themes: RNZAF & Kiwis with the RAF/FAA etc.
I now have a third theme (thanks Harry): UA/NAC airliners & (to me) significant ZK aircraft.
All 1/72 because I have a larger selection of candidates.
While I cannot build models anymore, there a some nice chaps who keep me addicted with their creations.

Gloster Gladiator Mk.I: N5908 263 Sqn Norway 1940. Heller 470 c/w kit decals. Started: Last century by me. Finished: 2022 by Harry. Thanks mate. Awesome rigging. 263 Squadron & the Kiwi Connection. N5908 allocated to Plt Off H F Vickery who added his personal marking. Used by Plt Off L R Jacobsen during his successful combats with the Luftwaffe. 
 The aircraft was lost in the sinking of HMS Glorious, North Sea; as were Jacobsen & Vickery along with fellow Kiwi, Lt (A) R J B Milesfrom 802 NAS FAA |

Hawker Sea Hurricane IIC x 2 Airfix: A02096 c/w kit markings: NF762 Revell: 04139 c/w kit markings: NZ700 Builder: Shane 835 NAS FAA & the Kiwi Connection: Both aircraft operated by Sub Lt (A) Al Burgham while operating off HMS Narina during 1944. NF672:  1944: 26th May; Ju.290, 9K+FK of 2./FAG.5 destroyed over the Bay of Biscay by Sub Lt Burgham.   NF672 damaged while landing. NF700: 
NF700's demise after striking the round-down while landing Matched pair: Sea Hurricanes NF700 ('7T') and NF672 ('7K') parked on the front of the flight deck of NAIRANA during the squadron work up period, January 1944. A tale of two 4 engines prop-liners: DC-6: NZ3632 Heller 315. DC-6B Modified to DC-6 c/w Kopher Engines Decals: Roundels: Ventura V7280 Markings: HF Decals Builder: Harry DH.114 Heron: ZK-BBM Airfix: A03001V. Mk2 modified to Mk.1B Decals: HF Decals Builder: Harry While the DC-6 has been the subject of previous threads, I have added it for completeness (and the fact that it is my favourite model). 
The Kopher engines 
A chance comment to Harry that I was thinking about having a line-up of early UA/NAC aircraft, he produced this jem and I couldn't say no.
