Airfix new kit announcement for 2023 includes a 1/35th scale Ferret, a vehicle previously only available in that scale as an expensive resin kit.
The NZ Army operated Ferret Mk 1 (open top no turret) and Mk 2 (.30 cal MG turret). We also operated British Army Ferrets Mk's 1 & 2 during the Borneo Confrontation 1965-66.
Paint schemes include Deep Bronze Green (Mk 1 & 2) and later various camouflage patterns for domestic Mk 2's.
