Noticed the Black Falcons on FR24 when they were about 20 minutes away from Waharoa so I was too late to drive out there, but I managed to get them on the Piako Gliding Club webcam Here is the FR24 trace of the display.

I don't get this "Age 30 years" and vertical speed -13,248 fpm" ?? Don't know about the 30 years - 1993 bit, but 13,000 fpm is about 130 knots. I assume it was an instantaneous reading while coming down the back side of a vertical manoeuver.

I saw the formation of five aircraft land at Hamilton after the display, so I jumped in my car and headed out try and get some photos as they taxied out and departed back to Ohakea. Being on the road at the runway end and it being a hot day meant the photos weren't great. A lot of heat haze and the aircraft took off on runway 36, away from my pozzie. Anyway, here are a few that aren't too awful. Taxi-ing out Turn Around One Turn Around Two Departure to the North

I don't get this "Age 30 years" and vertical speed -13,248 fpm" ?? I'm not sure where the 30 years would have come from but the aircraft data on FR24 is often pretty inaccurate because it mostly relies on users updating and adding it manually. Quite common for the picture to be of a completely different aircraft that used to wear the same registration too.
