There is an opportunity for someone to secure for themselves an amazing project for very little money. Classic Aircraft Sales have been asked to dispose of the advanced Jurca P-51D Mustang that Gilles Kupfer had been putting together at Wanaka. The project was commenced in France and the standard of construction looks very good. It has extensive paperwork with it. The wooden airframe structure has been completed and fit-out has begun with the installation of the retractable undercarriage. There is no engine or propeller with the project but it does have a spinner. At the present time there is an extensive package of spares that is included with the project, although this may be sold separately shortly to help reduce the space taken up by the project. This aircraft has been prepared for a glass-smooth finish, much like the scaled Jurca Fw190D completed by the same owner as this aircraft, so it would lend itself well to a civilian Mustang scheme. Current asking price is $12K but there is definitely room to move there, so someone is about to score a bargain. If you can think of anyone who might be the right person for this, have then in touch with Graham Orphan at graham.cwd@gmail.com Check it out on Trade Me here: www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/aircraft/aircraft/listing/3839112071
