Bugger! We should have offered them a Kahu upgrade!

Their upgrade is 20+ years newer than Kahu. I think they only upgraded around 12 jets.

Yeah, I was really just intimating that we could have had some continuation of similar work at PAC subsequent to 1987.
Of course the Kahu equipment would not have been available to South American countries at the time, so just an off-the-cuff thought.
And maybe the Brazilian versions were already a later Mk back then?
