Hi, I'm just at the research stage for a 1/72 Airspeed consul, probably modelled on NZ1901 and I'm wondering whether anyone has any nice photos in thier collections. I am trying to confirm the alterations to the cabin windows and windscreen sections, which is one of the areas of difference between the Oxford and the Consul. The photos I have of NZ1901 (from "Aircraft of the RNZAF / NZPAF) is from the LH side and seems to indicate that there may be either a solid panel or a sunshade above the co-pilots seat on the RH side (perhaps replaceing the clear panel normally in this position) I have a photo of NZ1905 from the other side, and this seems to have the clear panel as expected. The rear edge of the overhead panels is also different so any clear pictures of this area would be really useful. I Understand that Consuls were featured Warren Russells "RNZAF / NZPAF Colour Schemes Vol 1". if anyone has a copy, could they please see if the colour of NZ1901's spinners are noted anywhere, also whether it had under wing roundels and / or serials. I have an older Novo Oxford Mk2 which looks like it will be an excellent basis for the Consol - Not quite as nice as the Pavla Oxford I've already done though.... Thanks for your help, its very much appreciated.
