I am wondering, will the RNZAF be presented with a new King's Colour to replace the Queen's Colour currently in service?
And will all the squadron badges and the new flying badge brevets be altered to a different crown style?

King Charles uses the Tudor crown as part of his cypher, rather that St Edwards used by the Queen. A cypher is the monogram of a reigning sovereign and consists of the initials of their name and title and usually includes a crown. So yes things will need to change, but it will take some time. Standards are hand made, and the whole UK armed forces will probably be first in line. Other items such as a new crown on Flight Sergeant Rank, hat badges etc. could happen faster.

The Queen's long 60+ year reign probably meant that the small bespoke Royal Standard-making industry in Britain has long died out through lack of work. They will probably have to outsource to China. Lol.

I believe that the greater proportion of hand-made military (and some civilian) badges requiring intricate work (including military officers' cap badges) are still made in India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, etc., and this goes back a long, long way. Can anyone confirm?

Just to make more specific the types of badges, etc., I am talking about, these are British Commonwealth military (and some civilian) types, including NZ.
