Here I sit in the commentary box overlooking the newly laid out grass field across to the rolling hills and dense woodlands of the Ragley Hall estate. Beautiful day, cloud dispersed to clear, blue but not quite 22 yet. Airshow commences tomorrow and hoping that Bevan Dewes can get here from Sywell and we can catch up. He may be picked up by Tim Dews in the Grob and arrive in style tomorrow. Strange that the last time we three were together was at Masterton for Wings over Wairarapa. Really looking forward to this show. BBMF Lanc, Spitfire and Hurricane, RR Heritage P.51 and Griffon Spit, Typhoon - the jet variety, Bearcat, C.47 "Drag em Oot", multivarious aerobatic teams, the RAF Grob team and Falcons. Idyllic setting. Afternoon and night show tomorrow with a ballon nightglow.....expecting nearly 220 balloons of all shapes and sizes over the three days so something for everyong to quote the sales pitch. Hopefully in the crowd somewhere there shall be a Forum member who can post a few pics...

It was great to see on Tim's Facebook page and Steve Bridgewater's page too that you, Tim, Steve and Bevan did all meet up, Ando. It looks to have been a terrific event from the photos I have seen. A pity it was a few weeks too early for my UK trip. I'd love to go to this event.

What a wonderful show at MAF. I have been told it received some good comment but not seen as yet. Hope someone was there from the Forum and can post some pics. My first sight of a Draken....awesome!
