I've made up the old Airfix F.27 as a series 100 in the delivery colours with NAC (best markings for a non-radar equipped Friendship). I've made a number of mods, including the ride height of the main gear, adding height to the dorsal fillet, adding the bullet fairing behind the horizontal stabiliser, adding a 10th window to each cabin side and also carefully masking the cockpit widows to try and eliminate some of the window frame scribing issues on the original kit.
The model compares well with my modified Italeri model...I'm actually thinking Airfix model may have better overall shape
