Some of the early releases of the kit did have 75 sqn decals, as did the US version of the same kit marketed by MPC (not to be confused with MPM - which also do a Wellington, which is aparently quite good) the MPC kit is identical to the airfix one with regards to markings. I have one in my "to-do" pile (the decals are totally stuffed, but do have AA codes). I also have a mark Ia Novo kitset which is the old FROG brand. I would like to build a Mark I with Armstrong turrets to represent one of the 6 to actually wear NZ serials so will use the NOVO fuselage which has the correct side windows, with the MPC wings which are better than the NOVO ones. I will have to scratch build the early style gun turrets, which is why this one is well down the list at the moment. The colour scheme will be the early style with camo right down the fuselage side, with NZ serials (including under wings) and without the distinctive AA codes - a bit different I think... I like the model on the web page - very well done especially with such a "hard work" kit. Very nice.

Sounds like an interesting project Bruce. If you need to borrow a vacuum forming machine when it comes to making the turrets and canopies, let me know. My late Dad had two different machines for his business and Mum still has them.
