Hello everyone, was just testing the waters to see maybe what a hotshot trainer would fetch these days, all the electronics appear to be present, not sure if they function 100% (yet) plan was initially to convert into home sim-pit. Is this worth hanging on to? Or am I better off passing it off to someone/somewhere that'll truly appreciate it for what it is? Thank you kindly in advance.

I doubt any of the original digital electronics in the cockpits would now work. The computers that drove it all are well obsolete and took up a room on their own (they weren't built into the cockpits themselves). Some of the cockpit displays may be able to be made to work but the software behind them was what made it "Kahu" specific. It could be replicated by very clever people (and has been done in NZ). Pacific Simulators in Christchurch could assist I'm sure.

That's a great point, this one appears to be a bit different from the original, doesn't have the big white backed "seat" in it like the photo you shared in the other Sim thread but instead has a what I believe is an escapac seat training aid in place and there 2 blue what appears to be computers in the front under the hood that everything plugs into, have some photos but will have to get some more detailed ones when I get the chance.
