Fire fighing in Greece

Currently there is thirteen Australian Air Tractor AT802 series including Fire Boss variants on fire fighting all around Greece. Two more are expected to go soon. Also there is four aircraft, mainly from South Australia working in France.

Here is one kiwi pilot on contract.

They are flown there. First bunch went in May and the last one VH-FGO arrived in Athens on 6/7/23.

Just checking Rhodes, we have VHDUQ, DUW and RFM as well as a recently delivered Turkish Forest Service Fire Boss OR2022 and an S-64 N194AC.

Also In Greece, I've spotted Italian CL214's or 414's.

The other night other Italian Canadairs were busy on the toe of Italy as well as Sicily.
