I shared this clip with Dave and he suggested I post it for wider enjoyment. The film itself is about the genesis of soil conservation in NZ with a focus on Molesworth Station in the South Island High Country. It's remarkable in that it appears to be original colour footage from the 1940s.
While I think it's an interesting watch right through, at about 3:30 there's footage of an RNZAF trainer (Dave informs me it's a Moth Minor, I don't know anything about de Havilland mesself) landing at the Molesworth Homestead.
Near the start there's also a few nice shots of an NAC Lodestar.

It was definitely great to see this coloured footage of the Moth Minor, in what was likely its No. 42 Squadron RNZAF colour scheme. I don't know anything about de Havilland mesself Wait, what? But you're the Mossie guy!

Oh, I know a wee bit about Mossies and rather less about Vampires but otherwise I'm all at sea.
