Hi all:
17 Air Observers "passed out" from RNZAF Course No. 9 in October 1940 and on November 8 embarked on the Maunganui in Wellington for Egypt and the ME Pool where they were assigned out among the various squadrons for service in the Middle East and the Western Desert. I am working on a write-up about the 17, where they grew up, where they served, what happened to them during the war, and for those that come back, their life post-war life. I am looking to make contact with the family/extended family of those shown below. If anyone knows of any possible contacts for these airmen, I would very much appreciate the information. Cheers.
