I was looking at Wikipedia's page on the Leander Class Frigates, and I get the impression from that page that of all 26 Leander Class Frigates built, not a single one survives today.
Is that the case? If so, such a shame there are no survivors of these iconic vessels.

That will be a River Class I think, licence built and adapted Leander design, but not an actual Leander.

Indeed, im disappointed we didnt keep one as I spent about 7 years living/working on 3 of them. Not even a decent plastic model of them available.

That will be a River Class I think, licence built and adapted Leander design, but not an actual Leander. The Ahmad Yani class of six general-purpose frigates were acquired by the Indonesian Navy in the 1980s. They were originally built in the Netherlands for the Royal Netherlands Navy as the Van Speijk class which were licence-built versions of the British Leander class. The River class had a slightly different styled bridge windows etc

Ah, I misread McMaster's post as ex-RAN, rather than exercising with RAN.
