Good day A couple of free lectures that are open to everyone. Posters are attached at the bottom: - Monday, October 30 at 1830 Wing Commander Richard Beaton of the RNZAF will be talking about their Antarctica Operations.
- Saturday, November 4 at 1100 Major Glenn Pinnuck of the Australian Defence Flight Safety Bureau will be talking about a De Havilland Vampire that suffered an engine failure on its maiden flight after restoration. This lecture will be especially good for the aircraft restoration community because losing an aircraft on its first flight after restoration is every aircraft restorer's worst nightmare. Major Pinnuck will share his findings to help prevent that in the future.
Both events are at Ardmore Airport and they are free. Just please RSVP to zaytsoffm@gmail.com (my email address) if you'd like to attend. Also, please feel free to share these events with anyone else you think might be interested. Thanks for your time.
