What are you doing this Weekend? For those subscribers who will or can be in Marlborough this coming weekend, here's a quick reminder that Omaka Wings & Wheels Day is happening this Sunday! Just like Classic Fighters, this is an Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre fundraiser. It's an excellent opportunity to visit the museum, watch brilliant flying displays and drink in beautiful aircraft and classic cars. All for the one great price of $25 per adult online or $30 at the gate. Yes, that includes entry to the WW1 and WW2 exhibitions! But wait, there is more - all ticket holders will go into the draw to win a seat in the John Smith Mosquito as the engines roar! So check out the program below (gates open at 9 am) and click the link to purchase your ticket; we'd love to see you. Flying Display & Mosquito & WW1 Rotary Engine Run Program

Nice photos Grant, way better than my cell phone ones. I thought it was a beaut day out & far better priced that Classic Fighters for a poor bloody pensioner. If I had to single one thing out, it was the Yak 3 performance with accompanying smoke rings, I though that was very cool. Prop wash responsible I'm guessing.

Corsair has made a precautionary landing at Woodbourne, after making a few loud bangs while flying! Anyone have any more info? Well I live on the Wither Hills foothills behind Woodbourne. The Corsair flew directly over us heading westward popping and farting to the point where even my wife said there is something wrong with that one. I watched it then turn and land at Woodbourne heading eastward, so I figured it had something wrong.
