I received my kit from Hannant's on Monday, and have been doing some research over the past couple of evenings. Uncle Jules has been a bit naughty with his RNZAF option, as the kit as supplied cannot be built as a T.13 (T.4) as it doesn't include the dual cockpit layout, or the solid nose (no perspex nose cone on the trainers!). The RNZAF insisted on a 'bang seat' being fitted for the navigator (unlike the RAF T.4's), and the fuselage above his position was modified to suit. The only Kiwi option that can be built straight from the kit, is one of the leased B.2's used by No.75 Squadron in Singapore between 1958 and 1962. Basically standard RAF markings, but with a map of New Zealand painted on the tail fin and what appears to be the No.75 squadron crest on the nose (scan enclosed). RAF serials were: WF915; WH645; WH666; WH739; WH740; WH922; WJ605; WJ630; WJ715; WJ986; WJ988; and WK102. Other than that 'glitch', the kit is a beauty, and has now gone to the top of my 'to build' pile! Cheers, Pete M.
